角落的咖啡馆

Story

每měi天tiān早zǎo上shàng，小xiǎo李lǐ都dōu会huì去qù同tóng一yī家jiā咖kā啡fēi馆guǎn。这zhè家jiā咖kā啡fēi馆guǎn很hěn小xiǎo，就jiù在zài他tā家jiā附fù近jìn的de一yí个gè角jiǎo落luò。门mén很hěn旧jiù，里lǐ面miàn的de东dōng西xī也yě都dōu很hěn旧jiù，但dàn是shì他tā喜xǐ欢huan这zhè个ge地dì方fāng。

Every morning, Xiao Li goes to the same cafe. This cafe is small, in a corner near his home. The door is old, the things inside are old too, but he likes this place.

今jīn天tiān早zǎo上shàng，他tā走zǒu进jìn咖kā啡fēi馆guǎn的de时shí候hòu，觉jué得de有yǒu点diǎn不bù一yí样yàng。他tā先xiān没méi有yǒu看kàn见jiàn是shì什shén么me。然rán后hòu他tā发fā现xiàn：他tā每měi天tiān坐zuò的de那nà个ge地dì方fāng，那nà里lǐ没méi有yǒu了liǎo那nà个ge老lǎo的de东dōng西xī。是shì一yí个gè新xīn的de，更gèng小xiǎo一yì点diǎn，看kàn上shàng去qù更gèng好hǎo。

This morning, when he walks into the cafe, he feels something is not quite the same. At first he does not see what. Then he notices: in the place where he sits every day, the old thing is gone. There is a new one, a little smaller, and it looks better.

小xiǎo李lǐ没méi有yǒu说shuō什shén么me。他tā坐zuò下xià，等děng。

Xiao Li does not say anything. He sits down and waits.

来lái的de不bú是shì老lǎo板bǎn。是shì一yí个gè年nián轻qīng的de女nǚ人rén。她tā的de脸liǎn他tā没méi有yǒu见jiàn过guò。她tā对duì他tā笑xiào笑xiào，问wèn他tā要yào什shén么me。

The person who comes is not the owner. It is a young woman. He has not seen her face before. She smiles at him and asks what he wants.

"和hé每měi天tiān一yí样yàng，"小xiǎo李lǐ说shuō。可kě是shì她tā不bù知zhī道dào他tā每měi天tiān要yào什shén么me。她tā有yǒu点diǎn不bù好hǎo意yì思si。

"The same as every day," Xiao Li says. But she does not know what he has every day. She is a little embarrassed.

"对duì不bù起qǐ，"她tā说shuō，"我wǒ是shì新xīn来lái的de。今jīn天tiān是shì我wǒ第dì一yī天tiān。"

"Sorry," she says, "I am new. Today is my first day."

小xiǎo李lǐ笑xiào了liǎo。"没méi关guān系xì。一yī杯bēi咖kā啡fēi，不bú要yào别bié的de。"

Xiao Li smiles. "It's all right. A coffee, nothing else."

她tā去qù了liǎo。小xiǎo李lǐ看kàn着zhe她tā。他tā想xiǎng到dào那nà个ge老lǎo的de老lǎo板bǎn。那nà个ge老lǎo板bǎn在zài这zhè里lǐ很hěn多duō年nián了liǎo。小xiǎo李lǐ从cóng来lái没méi有yǒu问wèn过guò他tā的de名míng字zì。现xiàn在zài他tā不bù在zài了liǎo，小xiǎo李lǐ觉jué得de有yǒu一yì点diǎn难nán过guò。

She goes off. Xiao Li watches her. He thinks about the old owner. That owner was here for many years. Xiao Li never asked him his name. Now he is gone, and Xiao Li feels a little sad.

女nǚ人rén回huí来lái了liǎo，把bǎ咖kā啡fēi放fàng下xià。"老lǎo板bǎn是shì我wǒ爸bà爸ba，"她tā说shuō，"以yǐ前qián的de那nà个ge老lǎo板bǎn是shì他tā的de朋péng友yǒu。他tā年nián纪jì大dà了liǎo，不bù想xiǎng做zuò了liǎo。我wǒ爸bà爸ba说shuō，要yào把bǎ这zhè个ge地dì方fāng留liú下xià来lái。所suǒ以yǐ我wǒ来lái了liǎo。"

The woman comes back and puts the coffee down. "The owner is my father," she says. "The man before was his friend. He is old, he does not want to work any more. My father said, we should keep this place. So I came."

小xiǎo李lǐ觉jué得de这zhè是shì好hǎo事shì。他tā喝hē了liǎo一yī口kǒu咖kā啡fēi。味wèi道dào和hé以yǐ前qián一yí样yàng。他tā对duì女nǚ人rén说shuō："咖kā啡fēi很hěn好hǎo。和hé以yǐ前qián一yí个gè味wèi道dào。"

Xiao Li thinks this is a good thing. He drinks a sip of the coffee. The taste is the same as before. He says to the woman, "The coffee is good. The same taste as before."

她tā很hěn高gāo兴xìng。她tā又yòu笑xiào了liǎo，然rán后hòu去qù看kàn别bié的de人rén。

She is very happy. She smiles again, then goes to look after other people.

小xiǎo李lǐ慢màn慢màn地dì喝hē他tā的de咖kā啡fēi。外wài面miàn的de人rén都dōu在zài去qù工gōng作zuò。这zhè个ge地dì方fāng还hái是shì这zhè个ge地dì方fāng，可kě是shì也yě不bù完wán全quán一yí样yàng了liǎo。他tā想xiǎng，有yǒu时shí候hòu改gǎi变biàn也yě是shì好hǎo的de。

Xiao Li slowly drinks his coffee. Outside, people are all going to work. This place is still this place, but it is also not quite the same. He thinks, sometimes change is good too.

他tā喝hē完wán，把bǎ钱qián放fàng下xià，对duì女nǚ人rén说shuō再zài见jiàn，然rán后hòu走zǒu出chū门mén外wài。明míng天tiān他tā还hái会huì来lái。明míng天tiān那nà个ge新xīn的de东dōng西xī还hái会huì在zài，那nà个ge年nián轻qīng的de女nǚ人rén也yě会huì在zài。

He finishes, puts the money down, says goodbye to the woman, then walks out the door. Tomorrow he will come back. Tomorrow the new thing will be there, and the young woman will be there too.
