assez

/ase/

adverb #228 of 5,000 Core 1000

Translation

enough, quite, rather

Examples

?

Have you slept enough to be in good shape for tomorrow's meeting?

restaurant repas ordinaire .

This restaurant is quite expensive for an ordinary weekday meal.

J' dure .

I've had enough of this situation that has been going on for too long.

En avoir assez de (to be fed up with, to have had enough of) est une expression de ras-le-bol très fréquente.
